Students must be healthy to be educated and educated to be healthy. The SMMUSD Health Team is composed of Registered Credentialed School Nurses (RCSNs), a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), and Health Office Specialists (HOS). Together, we provide equitable, student-centered care across all school sites, ensuring that each child’s health supports their success in school.
School Nurses (RCSNs)Every school site is supported by a Registered Credentialed School Nurse—a licensed Registered Nurse with specialized training and a School Nurse Services Credential.
