A Special Meeting/ Board of Education Retreat workshop will be held on Friday and Saturday, August 10 and 11, 2001 as follows:

Friday, August 10, 2001 - Executive Conference Room, First Federal Bank, 401 Wilshire Boulevard, 4th Floor, Santa Monica, California, from 8 AM to 5:00 PM. The Board will break for lunch at noon and reconvene at 1:30 PM.

Saturday, August 11, 2001 - Board Room, SMMUSD Administrative Offices, 1651 16th Street, Santa Monica, California, from 8 AM to 1:30 PM

III. BOARD RETREAT

The Board of Education will participate in a workshop relative to establishing a working relationship with the new Superintendent, building capacity for instructional leadership and the Strategic Planning Process in the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District.

IV. ADJOURNMENT

This meeting will adjourn to the regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Education, Thursday, August 16, 2001, at 7:00 PM in the Board Room of the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District's Administrative Offices, 1651 16th Street, Santa Monica, California, 90404.
