Leaving School/Campus

  • Appointments During School

Students have to leave the note in their House Office prior to the beginning of the school day. The note will be verified, and the pass will be ready at the time of the student's departure. If the House Office is unable to verify the note, the student will not be released. If you know you cannot be reached, call the school and speak to the Administrative Assistant for your student’s House. The “Houses” tab on the home page of the school website will direct you to the proper person. Students who leave for a medical appointment must return with verification from the doctor or medical professional within 72 hours/ 3 days or the absence will be considered unexcused.

    Notes:

    • No ninth grader will be allowed to leave campus at lunch.
    • Students who return from lunch late will be issued a detention and have their off-campus lunch pass revoked for two weeks. If tardies become a chronic problem, the student will lose their off-campus privileges for the year.
    • If a student has the period immediately following lunch off, they may not leave campus unless they have a lunch pass.
    • Students who leave campus at lunch and who will be absent for the period(s) immediately following lunch without picking up their “Readmit Slip” will have the absence be considered truant/ unexcused as they did not follow procedure.
